Microsoft Copilot

With the Copilot Pro subscription you can use the AI assistant in the web versions of Office applications. Copilot Pro doesn’t speak Dutch yet.

Microsoft is rolling out the Copilot Pro subscription globally, announced in January. The AI assistant now has three formulas: a free version, Copilot Pro for individuals and SMEs, and Copilot for Microsoft 365, aimed at large companies. Copilot Pro is also available in Belgium and the Netherlands, but the Dutch language is not yet supported. Today, Microsoft Copilot speaks English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, Spanish and (simplified) Chinese.

With a paid Copilot Pro subscription, you get priority access to the most advanced versions of OpenAI’s GPT-4 and GPT-4 Turbo models. The Copilot Pro subscription is therefore comparable to a ChatGPT Plus subscription. You can also create your own GPTs.

Copilot Pro also brings the AI assistant to the web versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook without the need to connect the Copilot 365 Portfolio subscription. All you need is a Microsoft account. Finally, Copilot Pro also gives you access to the image generation features in Designer that are supported by Dall-E 3.

22 euros per month

For Copilot Pro you pay 22 euros per month and user. Through the mobile application, you can redeem a 30-day free trial to test whether the additional features are worth that amount. The free version of Copilot recently also offers access to GPT-4 Turbo. The version for companies costs 28.10 euros per month. This version of Copilot requires a Microsoft 365 Business Standard or Business Premium subscription.

Microsoft releases Copilot in many shapes and forms. Copilot for Security, an AI assistant designed for security teams, will also be available starting April 1st.
