American billionaire Elon Musk’s SpaceX company launched a new group of 23 Starlink internet satellites into space on Tuesday, March 26.

The launch of the Falcon 9 launch vehicle with 23 Starlink Internet satellites was carried out from the spaceport in the American state of Florida at 01:42 Kiev time.

It was stated that the first stage of the rocket returned to Earth as planned, approximately 8.5 minutes after launch. He made a vertical landing on the unmanned ship “A Shortfall of Gravitas” in the Atlantic Ocean.

A group of Internet satellites was deployed into low Earth orbit approximately 65 minutes after launch.

Today’s launch was Falcon 9’s 29th mission in 2024 and the 19th mission dedicated to the creation of the Starlink megaconstellation.

To date, SpaceX has launched 6,054 Starlink satellites into space. Of these, 5,587 are currently operating in low Earth orbit.

As Ukrinform reported, on March 24, SpaceX launched a new batch of Starlink satellites into space.
