The image we see on the cover of this article is a rendered image of Google’s new Pixel 9, according to recent leaks. We’ve already seen images of what we believe to be Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro, but the latest data shows this is actually the case. There won’t be two Pixel phones this year, there will be three.

These will be mobile phones Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL. Google will add a third “extra large” option to its smartphone portfolio in 2024, which includes a radical change in the design of all models compared to the previous generation Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro.

When the first images of the new Google Pixel were leaked, the thing that caught our attention most about the new models was that both had three sensors on the camera, which meant that the smallest model of the family would eventually have a telephoto sensor.

Or at least That’s what we thought until then. Since two Pixel phones in two different sizes were leaked, they were speculated to be the Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro, but new information published by @OnLeaks and 91Mobiles has revealed that these are actually the Pixel 9 Pro with a display. New Pixel 9 Pro XL with 6.3-inch and 6.7-inch screens.

But now famous leaker @OnLeaks has released the first images of Pixel 9. The camera will have two sensorsand not three. It looks like we’ll be saying goodbye to the dream of a telephoto lens on the smallest Pixel.

Pixel 9 will also have a new design that we will see in its older brothers: The new Google mobile phone a completely new camera moduleThis module, which replaces the design we saw in Pixel 8, is in the shape of an oval island and contains two camera sensors and flash. Additionally, the edges of the mobile phone are much flatter, rather than rounded as in the previous generation.

For now, the technical details of the hardware that the new Pixels will include are unknown, only it is expected to include Google’s new Tensor processor (Tensor G4) and support Qi2 wireless charging technology.

We are expected to meet the new Pixel 9 next October. A new Pixel Watch and Google’s new generation foldable device Pixel Fold 2 may also arrive at the same event.
