American company Apple Inc. plans to introduce its long-awaited new iPad tablets in early May.
As reported by Ukrinform, Bloomberg reports this, citing sources familiar with the matter.
Interlocutors note that Apple’s foreign suppliers have already increased production of the company’s long-awaited new iPads.
The release of new tablets will focus on updated versions of the iPad Pro and iPad Air.
The agency had previously reported that iPad Pro models will have sharper new OLED screens, and iPad Air will have a 32.8 cm screen for the first time.
This move will mark the end of the longest period without new models in the history of the iPad, which was first introduced by Apple co-founder Steve Jobs in 2010.
It is stated that Apple believes that new models with faster M3 chips and updated accessories could contribute to the revival of the company’s products in this category.
Apple initially planned to release the new iPads in late March or early April, but the company continued to work on finalizing the software for the devices.
As reported by Ukrinform, South Korean company Samsung Electronics introduced a stylish and compact Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2024) tablet designed for both work and entertainment.
