A Florida woman wounded and shot two drivers after she warned staff at the hotel where she was staying that she was going to carry out a shooting “at God’s direction because of the eclipse.”
The phenomenon occurred this Monday, partially in some areas and completely in others, and covered about 185 kilometers in width from Mexico to Maine (USA).

The woman, identified as Taillon Nichelle Celestine, 22, of Georgia, was arrested after shooting two people on Interstate 10 (I-10) and charged with attempted murder, ABC reported, citing the Florida Highway Patrol.
Leaving the hotel, Celestina drove 180 kilometers from the Georgia border (northern Florida) to I-10 and shot at a car, wounding the driver in the arm.
He then fired at another car, hitting the driver in the neck, police also said, ABC reported.
It also highlights that the woman drove another 26 kilometers before she was stopped by police, who found an AR-15 rifle and a 9mm pistol in the car.
