Slack’s generative AI platform is now available to all paying customers and brings with it several new features.

In February, Slack AI was introduced to Enterprise customers, but now Salesforce is making Slack AI available to all other paying customers on a Business+ or Pro plan. In addition, the AI-driven platform is strengthened with new features, including additional language support and new summary and search functions. Based on internal analysis, Salesforce reported that customers have saved an average of 97 minutes per user per week using Slack AI to date.

All paying customers

Slack AI is now available as a paid add-on to all paid Slack subscriptions. For Slack Pro and Business+ plans, the amount is $10 per user per month. Users with an Enterprise subscription have previously been able to use this new platform.

New function

The rollout comes with some new features. For example, language support is expanded to include English, Spanish and Japanese. Additionally, the company is adding a new summary feature that creates a daily morning summary with an overview of channels that users can add at their convenience.

There’s also a new way to search Slack content with conversation questions and get personalized answers. According to the company, users receive clear and concise responses in plain language with direct quotes to relevant Slack messages.

According to an internal study, customers have saved an average of 97 minutes per user per week using Slack AI.
