Three of the six mobile formulas will receive additional data from Proximus starting May 1st. The provider is also adding a new offer: Mobile Smart with 35 GB of mobile data.
Proximus will be making some changes to the mobile data of its mobile subscriptions starting May 1st. The two cheapest formulas, Mobile Essential and Mobile Easy, remain unchanged. Mobile Maxi will now receive more data and Mobile Smart will be introduced as a new formula.
All formulas except Mobile Essential have access to the faster 5G network for data. This will specifically change:
All prices mentioned above include VAT.
Proximus is also working on its professional subscriptions and, in addition to more data, is also offering a new formula in the spirit of Mobile Smart for consumers. That will change from May 1st.
All formulas and prices above apply when purchased separately from Proximus. If you combine this with the Internet and/or TV, for example, you can enjoy certain economies of scale.
Last week, Proximus acquired additional 5G spectrum from the Walloon NRA. Proximus has already acquired 100 MHz in the high frequency band at the 5G auction, but is expanding the available spectrum to 120 MHz by purchasing NRB. That’s more than the 100 MHz that both Telenet and Orange own, which could give Proximus a technological advantage.
