SpaceX We proudly announced the 300th landing of the company’s Falcon 9 first stage. Starlink mission 6-53 also marked its 30th orbital launch from Florida in 2024.
First stage launch vehicle hawk 9Flight B1078, which fulfilled this mission, made the ninth launch of this flight. This rocket had previously launched NASA’s Crew-6 mission to the International Space Station USSF-124 and five sets of Starlink satellites into orbit.
Approximately eight and a half minutes after liftoff, B1078’s first stage landed on the Just Read the Instructions drone. It was the Falcon launch vehicle’s 300th landing overall, as well as the 79th landing for Just Read the Instructions.
23 Starlink satellites were added to the group, which currently includes 5,851 devices.
