Bentley Motors introduced the ultra-luxury convertible Batur. It is the brand’s most expensive model to date and is one of the most powerful petrol convertibles ever produced in the UK.

This new convertible is the third model series from Bentley Mulliner’s special production division, following the Batur hardtop coupe and Bacalar Barchetta. Unlike Bacalar, Batur is equipped with a convertible top. A total of 16 copies will be printed. Each can be customized to the owner’s requirements and will cost in excess of £2 million.

Bentley says customers are “limited only by their imagination” when designing their cars. They can choose colors and materials on almost any surface, including unlimited paint colors, painted graphics, different types of metallic bodywork, and even a gradient effect for the front grille. Customers can choose the materials used for the folding roof, and a 3D printed rose gold finish is available for the interior of the cabin.

The new car is based on the Continental GT and will be one of the last models to be powered by Bentley’s twin-turbocharged 6.0-litre W12 engine, which is due to be phased out this summer. Currently, the convertible version of the closed-roof Batur, which was previously released, can produce 750 hp. and a torque of 1000 Nm.

Like the coupe, it will be able to reach 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds and its maximum speed will be 336 km/h. The transmission will work with an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and sports exhaust system.
