Since landing in Spain, Xiaomi has offered more than 300 items, among which we can find activity bracelets (the ubiquitous Xiaomi Smart Band), more than 60 smartphones, full-inch televisions, headphones, five different scooters, backpacks, power banks. razors, robot vacuum cleaners and even a massage gun.
However, despite arriving in Spain, there is a product line whose descent has been seen and not seen. In August 2018, Xiaomi released the 13.3-inch Xiaomi Mi Notebook AirThe , is a very light laptop with a standard key layout, not forgetting the letter ‘Ñ’. What went wrong? Uncertain sales, apparently, receive little attention from the public.
But Xiaomi has a long history of laptops, including the heart and brain of AMD. And maybe five years later, the brand’s perspective has changed. Let’s get to know this family in depth, this broad portfolio that has been consolidated over the years. Xiaomi has a surprise.
All Xiaomi laptops
Xiaomi has two clearly differentiated portable lines, all compatible with Windows 11. my notebook In terms of performance and screen quality, we can distinguish between Mi Notebook Pro, the top model of the family, and Mi Notebook Pro X.
If you are looking for the most advanced model of this family, you will come across Notebook Pro 14 Ryzen Edition, a system from AMD that combines two configurations – R5 5600H or R7 5800H, 100W fast charging. 14-inch display with 2.5K resolution, 300 nits peak brightness, 60/90/120Hz dynamic refresh rate and 216ppi pixel density.
On the other hand, Mi Laptop Air stands out, two very light models that aim to compete directly with the MacBook Air. The latest model, released in the summer of 2021, has become standard. body 12.9 millimeters thick and 1.07 kg feather weight. This particular system opted for the 7th generation Intel Core i5 processor. Apart from these models, Xiaomi no longer manufactures under its own brand.

- RedmiBook Weather (13 inch model only)
- redmibook (13, 14, and 16 inch models)
- RedmiBook Pro (with 13, 14 and 15 inch models)

Currently, the last three lines feature versions with Intel graphics and dedicated AMD graphics; only the ‘Air’ model is equipped with Intel and integrated graphics only.
The latest models available are the 14-inch RedmiBook Pro and the 15-inch RedmiBook Pro, introduced in May 2022 and equipped with up to six different configurations – capable of plugging 10th generation chipsets such as the i7-12650H with Nvidia GeForce RTX 2050 graphics – despite all always dressed with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
Although there is a silver lining to hope. We consulted with Xiaomi Spain and although they told us that they currently do not have any laptops in the Xiaomi product portfolio, the company’s idea is “there are devices in all product segments and of course there are in Spain“. In any case, we will have to wait.
According to internal sources, the landing of these products in Spain is uncertain, but there is interest and relevance. Looks like we’ll be able to enjoy some different models sooner or later.
As confirmed, “At Xiaomi, we always want to have high-end devices in all product categories on the market. When it comes to laptops, we hope to bring them back to our country very soon.” As we can read between the lines, there is a real intention and the company’s tablet, which follows in the footsteps of the famous Xiaomi Pad 5 sold out for a few weeks.
