SSDs have completely replaced hard drives as the main storage unit. Large companies in the sector have joined in this task, as well as others who have launched their own product lines without specialists.

ASUS ROG Strix SQ7, another offer

ASUS leads the sales of gaming laptops or motherboards, but also wants its share of these types of components. ROG Strix SQ7 SSD is a typical OEM drive. If there are many called, few are chosen. Other cited features include support for the TGC Opal security system and 256-bit AES encryption. ASUS also provides its own software control center, which of course uses the premium ROG brand, but looks like the standard version of Phison for its driver, rather than tailor-made.

The company includes a license for NTI Backup Now EZ software for backup and transfer tasks from previous storage units. The ASUS ROG Strix SQ7 will be offered with a five-year warranty and hopefully a variety of storage capacities. So far we know 1TB versionwithout a defined price even if it will average the SSD sector.

ASUS ROG Strix SQ7 does not bring news to the sector, but will be another alternative for SSDs, which have a wide range.
