Geely has introduced a sportier version of its popular compact hybrid sedan, the Galaxy L6. Sports Edition appeared in the database of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China.
Sports Edition received a more aggressive look, bright colors and black accents on the body. Galaxy L6 Sports Edition is powered by Geely’s next-generation Thor hybrid system 8848. This powertrain combines a 1.5L hybrid engine with a 3-speed variable frequency DHT Pro electric drive. The vehicle accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.3 seconds and reaches a maximum speed of 247 km/h.
The Sports Edition L6 has an electric range of 125 km and a total range of 1,370 km. In addition, it consumes only 4.55 liters per 100 kilometers.
Various driving modes are provided, including pure electric, extended range mode for long trips and smart mode. The price has not been announced yet.
