The AI ​​Office will consist of 140 experts from the fields of technology, justice and business.

The aim of the new AI Office is to support the development of AI and limit the risks of its misuse. The AI ​​Act forms the basis for achieving this goal and will come into force in 2026. In particular, systems used in critical infrastructure, education or human resources will have to meet stricter requirements to be approved in the EU.

In addition, there are also specific rules related to AI, such as ChatGPT, to ensure quality and protect copyrights. In addition, it must also be clearly stated when images, sound and text were generated by AI. In addition, systems for assessing or monitoring citizens are prohibited. The AI ​​Office can impose sanctions on those who do not comply with the legislation.
