ECA Board President Gemma Hickey emphasized that this “For the first time in the history of the clergy abuse disaster, an international coalition of survivor organizations and their advocates has joined the main institution of the Catholic Church. for the protection of children, to support the binding and universal mandate of zero tolerance for sexual abuse in the Catholic Church.”
