Pure Storage introduces three new storage-as-a-service SLAs to help organizations combat ransomware and other cyber threats.
Pure Storage announces its In//AccelerateThe Las Vegas event will showcase cybersecurity innovations for its storage platform, focusing on enhanced cyber recovery and resilience service level agreements (SLAs), a new security assessment, and AI-driven anomaly detection. These additions are designed to help organizations reduce risks in their critical IT infrastructure.
Cyber recovery and resilience
The new Cyber recovery and resilience-SLA builds on previous ransomware recovery SLAs. This new offering includes not only ransomware protection but also disaster recovery. Companies receive a customized recovery plan, a new service infrastructure within an agreed time, on-site installation and professional data transfer services.
In addition, Pure Storage works with customers to develop and maintain a cybersecurity strategy, including regular risk assessments and operational security remediation.
Safety assessment and detection of AI anomalies
The new security score provides insight into security risks and actionable recommendations to maximize cyber resilience. Aggregated data from more than 10,000 environments is used to assign security scores from 0 to 5, helping benchmark against other Pure Storage customers and comply with NIST 2.0 standards. The AI-driven Copilot, which Pure Storage is simultaneously announcing, will provide CISOs with insights to assess and improve security posture.
Additionally, Pure Storage has enhanced AI-powered anomaly detection to identify threats such as ransomware attacks, unusual activity, and denial-of-service attacks. The new models analyze customer environments using historical data to detect abnormal patterns.
SLA for redesigning the website
The Evergreen//One Site Rebalance-SLA provides companies with the flexibility to adjust reserve requirements as storage needs change. This is particularly useful when capacity requirements change at a particular location or when data centers are consolidated. Companies can now review their respective reserve requirements annually Evergreen//One-Subscription.
