Evo Morales has confirmed that President Luis Arce has lied to the Bolivian people and the world, as he says he has government sources who confirm that this week attempted a self-government coup.
In his weekly radio broadcast, the former Bolivian president said that General Juan José Zúñiga was one of the participants in this operation, since he was the main visible face of the mobilization of the armed forces, which, according to the official version, was intended to take power.
According to Evo Morales’ sources, Arce’s plan was to hand over power to a military junta to block his path in the 2025 elections.
