Not waiting for the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase, which is planned to be held on June 12, Microsoft introduced some new products related to the game aspect. Samsung has announced the launch of Xbox on smart TVs for the 2022 model year.

The program will enable TVs to run games from the Xbox cloud service. Simply put, owners of such TVs cannot afford to buy a console if they are satisfied with the set of games available on Xbox. Also, Microsoft is working on a Keystone cloud set-top box that will do exactly the same, and it turns out that Samsung TVs can do the same without such a set-top box.

Thus, Game Pass and Fortnite library will be available on Samsung TVs. It’s just worth noting here that the regular Game Pass and the game set in the cloud are slightly different. The Xbox app will be available on Samsung TVs on June 30. Microsoft has yet to release a list of supported TVs.

Microsoft also introduced a feature about which information emerged the other day. These are demo versions of games that are part of the Game Pass subscription, as Sony did with its new PS Plus. There are no details yet, but a source said the other day that the focus will be on indie games.
