FBI Confirms Attempted Assassination of Trump

He FBI Pittsburgh has confirmed that former President Donald trump there was an “attempt” murder“the shooter who was killed and has not yet been identified.

This was announced at a press conference by Kevin Rozek, special agent in charge of the local FBI office in this city, who asked citizens to help collect information about the incident.

“We have intelligence analysts working feverishly to establish the identity of the person who did this and the motives for doing this. “We need the public’s help now,” he explained.

Police have not confirmed that Trump’s attacker was a ‘lone wolf’

State Police Lt. Col. George Bivens said he cannot yet confirm the shooter was a “lone wolf” and they are being extremely cautious in all aspects of the shooting they are investigating, including explosives protocols.

“We are close to making that identification, and once we are 100% certain who this individual is, we will share that with the press,” the FBI spokesman added.

An autopsy on the attacker’s body has not yet been performed.

Trump’s attacker was found dead on a nearby rooftop far from the rally site

Rojek admitted it was “surprising” that the attacker, found dead on a rooftop nearby outside the rally, was able to fire multiple shots.

The FBI has deployed numerous forces to the area, including a special response team from Marine Corps Base Quantico, Virginia.

“This remains an active crime scene. As I said, we have multiple officers on scene. We are also working closely with other federal agencies, our state partners, and our local law enforcement partners,” Rojek said.

Trump was wounded in the right ear after a gunman opened fire during a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.

After evicted by Secret Service agents responsible for his safety, he was taken to hospital where he received medical treatment but was later discharged.

One Trump supporter is dead, the shooter is killed and two people were hospitalized Bivens said they were in serious condition. They were all adult males, he added.

The shooter killed by Secret Service agents was on a rooftop outside the campaign perimeter, District Attorney Butler said.

No Secret Service officials attended the news conference, which will be the subject of a congressional investigation into alleged missteps that made the attack on Trump possible.

The rally comes days before the Republican National Convention, scheduled for Monday through Thursday in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where Trump will be confirmed as the Republican nominee. (EFE)
