Eccentrica, a company that recreates and revives classic Lamborghinis, said it will release 19 facelifted Diablos priced at around $1,470,000. The original Diablos were introduced in 1990 and were the first Lamborghinis to reach a top speed of over 200 mph. The company even built a one-of-a-kind Diablo roadster for Donald Trump.

Former Lamborghini CTO Maurizio Reggiani agreed with Eccentrica: “This is an extraordinary opportunity to work on a reminder of something that happened 30 years ago with something that happens today. We will create an immersive experience for the small number of customers who want to own as many Diablos as possible.”

Each upgraded Diablo will be completely redesigned, with a range of cosmetic updates including modernised steering, traction control and a modern air conditioning system, as well as new headlights.

The new Diablo will be powered by a naturally aspirated 5.7-liter V-12 engine with updated components, including an electronic throttle, from the first-generation cars produced between 1991 and 1994. The updated Diablo will have 550 horsepower and 600 Nm of torque, making it slightly more powerful than the original, which was under 500 horsepower. Deliveries of the machines will begin in June 2025.
