The Nic Phone (2a) Plus will be officially unveiled tomorrow, but the London-based company founded by Carl Pei has given us a good look at this long-awaited terminal with a leaked image that allows us to appreciate its design and its finishes.

In general, we have such a design It is virtually identical to the Nothing Phone (2a)which is understandable since it hit the market last March, which means that there will be a few months of difference between them, so we shouldn’t expect big changes.

An oval islet is maintained in the back, which collects the total two camerasand which is located on a circular space, where we can also see a total of three LEDs that form Glyph interface. In the lower half, we have the same pattern that represents the Nothing Phone (2a) Plus, albeit with a slightly different texture.

The frame is flat with rounded corners and although we can’t see the front We can expect a full flat screen finish with a camera integrated into a circular island located in the center position. As I said, there are practically no changes from the Nothing Phone (2a). I’ll leave you with a picture of this model so you can compare the two.

This smartphone is aimed at the mid-range market and will have a reasonable price that will probably be between 300 and 350 euros, which means that Nothing will have to adjust costsand most likely the use of plastic on the chassis and on the back of the terminal will be repeated.

Plastic is a much cheaper material than aluminum and glass, it is light and has good resistance to drops and impacts, but it is more fragile against scratches and does not feel as premium as the other two materials. In each case, use of plastic in a terminal of this type It’s completely logical.

Its specifications have not yet been fully confirmed, but we have some official data which we can expand with a fairly realistic estimate and thus offer you an insight into the possible final configuration of this smartphone:

• Mediatek Dimensity 7350 Pro SoC manufactured under 4nm node. It comes with an 8-core CPU split into two blocks, one with two 3GHz Cortex-A715 cores and the other with six Cortex-A510 cores.
• GPU ARM Mali-G610 MC4.
• MediaTek 657 NPU with computational photography capability.
• 5G connectivity with a maximum speed of 4.7 Gbps.
• 12 GB of RAM. The base version can still have 8GB of RAM.
• 128 GB of storage capacity in the basic version.
• Dual 50MP rear camera, main and wide-angle.
• 50 MP front camera.
• 5000 mAh battery compatible with 50W fast charging.
• IP54 certification for dust and water resistance.
• Android 14 with Nothing OS 2.6 layer.

As I told you a little above, the price of this smartphone should be approx 350 euros in the basic configuration. A model with 256 GB of storage capacity could be closer to 400 euros. We will clarify the doubts tomorrow when the official launch will take place.
