Missing less than three weeks until Gamescom 2024 opens, in which we can consider the last big event of the summer in the world of video games. As you already know, it takes place in Cologne, Germany and is the most important event in this sector on the old continent. This year’s edition will take place from Wednesday August 21st to Sunday August 25th, and based on the reports so far from the participating companies, it looks like it’s going to be quite an interesting edition.

In these cases, yes Different companies use different profiles, which range from absolute secrecy, with the intention of surprising everyone when the event arrives, to those who, as is often the case, prefer to anticipate what their presence at the event will consist of. Of course, this reduces the impact once it arrives, but on the other hand, and especially if your proposal is attractive, it will start generating a lot of interest weeks before the doors open.

In the case of Xbox and the situation it is going through now, it makes sense to want to generate maximum interest for as long as possible. Let’s recall that although the part of the business dedicated to games (both sales and the Game Pass subscription model) brings quite good news to Microsoft, we cannot say the same if we talk about the console market, since the numbers of Xbox Serial sales were a significant blow for Redmond.

So as we can read on the official page of the platform, Microsoft has already announced what Xbox’s presence at Gamescom 2024 will consist ofand in general the proposal looks very interesting, with more than 50 game titles from Xbox Game Studios, Blizzard, Bethesda and third-party developers, although it is true that some of the most anticipated titles will be present but not playable.

So Microsoft highlights some of the titles that can be found in more than 240 machines available to Gamescom 2024 attendees. They are as follows:

• Ara: The Untold History
• Diablo IV: Vessel of Hatred
• Fallout 76: Milepost Zero
• The Elder Scrolls Online: Gold Road
• Towerborne

As I said before, Other titles will also be present, although event attendees will not be able to play themand among them are some particularly anticipated ones such as Avowed (which has been rumored to be delayed until 2025), Starfield: Shattered Space and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, a title highly anticipated by many and theoretically set to hit the market get this year.
