The Vivo V40 pro is a different version of the already excellent Vivo V40 phone. The brand adds a rear telephoto, improves the processor and further enhances high portrait capabilitiesAll in collaboration with ZEISS, both at hardware level and in image processing.

The Vivo V40 Pro’s display is increasing to 6.78 inches with the same curved edges we saw on the previous model. It has FHD+ resolution, AMOLED technology, up to 120Hz refresh rate and Localized maximum brightness reaching 4,500 nits With playback of HDR content. Additionally, there is a hole at the top of the screen for the 50-megapixel selfie camera.

In terms of power, the Vivo V40 Pro packs more than its fair share of MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ SoC on paper. This is accompanied by up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. It is compatible with 5G networks, offers NFC for mobile payments, and is IP68 certified.

The handset is available for reservation in India, we don’t know when it will reach Europe at the moment (it probably will). The price for India is as follows:

  • Vivo V40 pro 8/256GB. 600 euros (54,999 rupees) at the exchange rate. During the launch period, it drops to 546 euros (49,999 rupees).
  • Vivo V40 pro 12/512GB. At the exchange rate of 666 euros (60,999 rupees). During the launch period, the exchange rate drops to 611 euros (55,999 rupees).
