Fortinet has added several new features to its OT security platform. For example, the security specialist is providing improved asset identification and network visualization within FortiOS, which benefits the security of OT networks.

Fortinet is also introducing new rugged switches specifically designed for industrial environments with high bandwidth requirements. In addition, the FortiSRA solution provides enhanced secure remote access for external parties, which is important for protecting critical OT systems.

In addition, AI-driven capabilities for security operations within OT are expanding. For example, FortiSOAR now offers an IT/OT overview dashboard and compliance playbooks, while FortiAnalyzer gains enhanced reporting capabilities for key regulatory compliance.
