BMW Motorrad presents the BMW CE 02 Custom eParkourer version from Vagabund Moto GmbH and BMW Motorrad Austria.

While the international BMW Motorrad customisation scene is mainly focused on the BMW Motorrad Heritage models, the BMW R 18 and the BMW R 12 nineT, which are characterised by inspiring creativity, high levels of craftsmanship and new ideas, Austria has now developed an unusual project based on the BMW CE 02. In collaboration with BMW Motorrad Austria in Salzburg, the VAGABUND design and manufacturing studio in Graz has created the BMW CE 02 x VAGABUND, an elegant eParkourer based on the BMW CE 02 for urban conditions.

“We fell in love with it straight away when we first saw the CE 02 at the BMW Motorrad Days in Berlin. The overall design of the CE 02 simply ‘fits’ us perfectly, because at VAGABUND we always try to discover something new and interpret existing products in our own way. For this project, we defined the overall design approach as ‘back to the future’. We tried to combine an original, very futuristic design with some retro elements and thus give the viewer a sense of familiarity,” explains Paul Brauchart, founder and director of Vagabund Moto GmbH.

Futuristic design meets retro.

The custom motorcycle made in Austria impresses not only with its unique and futuristic design, but also with several functional “retro” elements, which were developed in a modern, fresh style and with a focus on a young audience. For example, the music integration “OB-4 Magic Radio” from “Teenage Engineering” emphasizes the young and creative philosophy of “custom” motorcycles. The “electric exhaust” serves as a practical style element and a visual highlight. It provides space for an umbrella. Design elements such as the kickstand with anti-slip tape for skateboarding reflect the sporty style.
