Circle to Search, which lets users quickly search for content on the screen by tapping or drawing a circle, is coming to several new phones SAMSUNG.After its debut Galaxy S24 With the arrival of January and the latest foldable models Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6, Circle to Search is now available for the mid-range Galaxy A series and the budget Galaxy Tab S9 FE.

The Galaxy A55, A54, A35, and A34 smartphones, as well as the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Tab S9 FE+, will start shipping this month. This extension allows Circle to Search to reach a wider audience, not just premium smartphones.

However, it is worth noting that for now, this feature remains exclusive to Samsung and Google devices. Below is a list of currently supported devices.

  • Samsung Galaxy: S24, S23, S22, S21 series; Z Fold 5, 4, 3; Z Flip 5, 4, 3; Tab S9 series.
  • Google Pixel: 8, 7, 6 series; 6A, 7A; Pixel Fold; Pixel tablet.

The functionality itself remains unchanged. Users can activate the Circle to Search by holding down the Home button (or equivalent gesture on the navigation bar) or by directly tapping and selecting the content they want to search. Once selected, a web search will begin with results displayed at the bottom of the screen. Users can further refine their searches by adding text to the search bar.

Circle to Search is definitely a handy way to get content on your screen without having to switch apps or manually type. Those without this feature can still enjoy a similar experience using Google Assistant’s voice search or on-screen search. But we hope Circle to Search becomes available on smartphones from all brands.
