The sixth widget comes to the Google Clock app, which comes pre-installed on many Android phones: timer widget.
Until now, Google Clock had a stopwatch widget among others but no timer. That’s what you’ll find in its new widget. Timers on your mobile phone home screenputting them more at your fingertips than ever before.
New timers widget
If you use the stopwatch in the Google Clock app a lot, you now have the option to keep it handy as a widget on your home screen. Google is now enabling it Sixth widget for the Clock appWith the latter the application has the following widgets:

Timer
This is an activation by serverSo even if you have the latest version of the app (version 7.9.1 at the time of writing), that doesn’t guarantee that you have the new widget. The only way to know if this is the case is to open the system widget picker.

The new widget lets you: shortcuts to start timers from home screenwithout having to open the application first. With a size of 2 x 4 blocks, although dynamic as usual today, the widget will show us three timers as standard: 1 minute, 5 minutes and 10 minutes. In the upper right corner there is a button to create a new custom timer.
But the widget will be displayed timers you set in the appSo if you need something for 15 minutes so that your lentils don’t burn, you set it up in the Clock app and then you can easily launch it from its widget.
New widget waiting for yearsIt was the only app without a widget due to the app’s main functions (clock, world clock, stopwatch and timer). This injustice is now finally resolved.
