A survey by ITdaily shows that hybrid working is widespread among IT professionals. Four out of ten go to the office on fixed days, three out of ten work in the office almost all the time.
This month, ITdaily surveyed its readers about the workflows of IT professionals. Hybrid working has been established for several years now and this is also evident from the survey, which included 177 respondents. The majority of IT professionals divide their time between working from home and in the office.
People are and will always be creatures of habit. Four out of ten respondents usually go to the office on set days. The exact number of days was not asked. Nine percent allow themselves more freedom and only go to the office when necessary for an important meeting. Six percent let it depend on where the air conditioning works on hot summer days.
Although hybrid working is the norm for many employees, 45 percent of IT professionals surveyed work either from home or in the office. Office work beats home office: 31 percent of respondents say they almost always work in the office, 14 percent almost always stay at home.
Every month we survey our readers on a current technology topic. Curious about the results of previous surveys? Here You can find the overview here.
