Absolute Security has acquired Syxsense and expanded its cyber resilience platform to include automated endpoint and vulnerability management.

Cybersecurity company Absolute Security’s acquisition of Syxsense, developer of a unified security and endpoint management suite, strengthens the Absolute platform with additional capabilities for automated endpoint management, vulnerability, patching and remediation, enabling customers to better protect their systems from threats, misconfigurations and faulty updates. The acquisition amount is undisclosed.

The Absolute Cyber ​​Resilience Platform, embedded in the firmware of 600 million PCs, provides customers with automated monitoring and remediation of their PCs and security systems. With the integration of Syxsense, this platform will be enhanced with new features such as patch management and vulnerability remediation, ensuring that devices are protected from potential threats as soon as they are turned on.

According to Christy Wyatt, CEO of Absolute Security, it is important for companies to fix problems before the operating system even loads. “The addition of Syxsense allows us to offer a more comprehensive set of solutions that fix bugs and vulnerabilities before they become major incidents,” Wyatt said.
