This limited edition sports car is based on the model AMG GT 63 Pro 4Matic+Introduced earlier this year, targeting the race track but with road clearance, the exterior of this special edition is inspired by the AMG Petronas F1 colours. The car pays tribute to last season when the team finished second behind Red Bull.
The rear of the car features a black obsidian metal base with hand-painted stars and bright teal accents. The car features illuminated door sills, backlighting and sport seats upholstered in a mix of Nappa leather and microfiber. The calipers of the carbon brake system are also painted teal.
Despite its Formula 1 styling, the Motorsport Collectors Edition retains the same engine as the GT 63 Pro. Under the hood is a 4.0-liter V8 engine that produces 611 hp. This engine allows the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds and reach a top speed of 317 km/h. Mercedes-AMG has not yet announced the price of this special model, which will be limited to 200 units.
