Venezuela Now Asks Interpol to Give Miley a Red Card

Venezuela’s prosecutor’s office announced on Tuesday a request for a “red card” from the International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol) against the President of Argentina, Javier Mileyfor which the Supreme Court has already requested an arrest warrant for the “theft” of the Venezuelan-Iranian plane seized in Buenos Aires in 2022.

“We have requested the inclusion of a red alert on Interpol for these subjects (…) The request has been sent, let’s wait to see how Interpol is going to act,” said Venezuelan prosecutor Tarek William Saab, who showed the official a document dated Monday that identifies Miley and two of his officials.

According to information collected by the Venezuelan press, the Venezuelan prosecutor stressed at a press conference that the request to Interpol is based on the crime of organized crime, which consists of “stealing a plane, dismantling the plane and damaging the national heritage.”

Prosecutor Saab announced last week the start of the trial against Milei; the President’s Secretary General Karina Milei and the Minister of Security Patricia Bullrich. The HOA Criminal Cassation Chamber links them all to a number of crimes, including “aggravated robbery”, “illegal deprivation of liberty” and “illegal interference with the operational safety of civil aviation”, among others.

The plane, owned by Venezuelan airline Emtrasur Cargo, was stopped in Argentina in June 2022 along with 19 crew members from Venezuela and Iran who were initially detained on suspicion of terrorism links. The US Justice Department claimed ownership of the plane over suspicions it was used for covert operations in the region.

The Argentine government has condemned the actions of Venezuelan prosecutors and distanced itself from the Emtrasur dispute to the point that it was resolved by the government’s “independent” judicial branch. Arrest warrants for Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro or officials have been issued in Buenos Aires on suspicion of human rights violations.

Saab calls Miley a ‘neo-Nazi’ and ‘Zionist’

In fact, prosecutor Saab noted on Tuesday that these arrest warrants are nothing more than a “de facto action” and a “gross maneuver” by the Miley government, which is accused of acting with “double standards and double standards” and being “extremely dangerous.”

“While they want to establish themselves as champions of human rights in the world, a government of a neo-Nazi like Mr. Miley, who was supposedly a Catholic, now says he is a Zionist and cries at the Western Wall, all in order to create a part of international Zionism in this region,” Saab Miley reproached.

Finally, Saab noted that Venezuela is under siege by foreign powers that are using Miley for their attacks. “Look how dangerous this mentally disturbed man has become,” the prosecutor said of the Argentine president. (Europe Press)
