HP is expanding its range of Poly camera bars to include solutions for small and large spaces. The X version is a complete solution, the V version is a USB solution for BYOD.

Earlier this year, HP launched the Studio X52 and Studio V52 camera bars for meeting rooms large and small. At its Imagine conference, HP will introduce two new camera bars that complete the lineup.

The Poly Studio X32 and Studio V32 focus on small meeting rooms. The high-end Poly Studio X72 and Studio V72 are better suited for large rooms. Important to note: The V-Series connects via USB and focuses more on BYOD. The X-Series is an all-in-one solution and runs Microsoft Teams, Zoom or Google Meet itself (via a Room license). Hardware-wise they are otherwise identical.

The Poly Studio X72 is available now and costs $6,999 in the US. The Studio V72 will be available later this year and costs $4,999. Euro pricing and local availability are not yet known.

The Poly Studio X32 and Studio V32 are expected in early 2025. A suggested retail price will be announced closer to launch.

Poly VideoOS 4.4

Poly has launched the latest VideoOS 4.4 software, adding new AI capabilities to meeting room devices already installed. IT administrators can now set smart camera boundaries in real time with Poly DirectorAI Perimeter. In addition, NoiseBlockAI v2 improves the filtering of disruptive noises, such as echoes from glass walls.

The Poly Labs program offers customers early access to experimental features, including VoiceScoreAI, which analyzes audio quality in meeting rooms and makes suggestions for optimization.

New cloud features for IT management

HP is expanding its Poly Lens cloud management platform with more secure and customized options. For example, Poly Lens Premium offers Remote Room Control, which allows IT administrators to troubleshoot issues remotely. In addition, HP is introducing Poly CloudConnect, which also allows Zoom Rooms participants to easily join Microsoft Teams meetings.

For environments that require more control and security, Poly PrivateConnect Meeting Control is available, giving users more flexibility in secure video conferencing over the PrivateConnect cloud infrastructure.
