European Union accepted this Tuesday new sanctions regime reply to Russia’s destabilizing actionsbeyond its borders and against European democratic systemssuch as interference in electoral processes or economic sabotage.

Borrell emphasizes that there is “intensification” of the Kremlin’s campaign against the EUits member states and its partners after support provided to Ukraine to repel the Russian invasion.
