Google’s anti-theft features are gradually rolling out to Android users who own a Google Pixel or Samsung Galaxy phone.

According to 9to5Google, Google’s new anti-theft features, announced earlier this year, are now rolling out globally. These three new anti-theft features are Theft Detection Lock, Offline Device Lock, and Remote Lock. This allows users to ensure that thieves do not gain access to sensitive information.

Earlier this year, Google introduced three new anti-theft security features. With these features, Theft Detection Lock, Offline Device Lock and Remote Lock, you can protect sensitive information from your smartphone in case a thief steals your smartphone.

Theft Detection Lock automatically analyzes when a device is stolen. For example, if someone takes the phone out of your hand and walks away. When detected, the phone blocks unwanted access to apps and data.

With Offline Device Lock, your device will be automatically locked if a thief wants to disconnect your phone from the internet for a long time. Finally, Remote Lock allows you to remotely lock your phone using just your phone number if you can’t sign in to Find My Device with your Google Account password.

The new features can be found in the settings menu under the name Theft protection above Institutions, Google and then All services. Or you type theft This also works in the search window of the settings menu.

Google is rolling out the new anti-theft features globally. The search giant’s Pixel phones are the first in line alongside Samsung’s Galaxy phones. The feature is only available on smartphones. Tablets do not have access to the new feature.
