Jaguar It has stopped selling new cars with conventional power units in its home market of the United Kingdom. The E-Pace, XE, XF and F-Type models have all been discontinued and now the F-Pace has also been discontinued.
Statement from Autocar Jaguar LandRover: “Sales of new Jaguars will be stopped as of November 2024. We have stopped the distribution of our vehicles Jaguar current generation”.
After the brand change, Porsche Taycan’s rival is expected to be the first electric car, while a crossover that will compete with Bentayga will also appear in 2026. Both will be based on Jaguar’s signature Electric Architecture, which will underpin the large sedan to be launched later this decade.
The company’s chief executive, Rawdon Glover, recently admitted that the move to an all-electric brand was “extremely disappointing”. The plan is for the new Jaguar to move into the most expensive segment and sell fewer cars at higher profit margins.
The first model won’t go on sale in the UK until 2026, so Jaguar won’t sell new cars in the UK for more than a year.
