The fair will last until November 17 in Corferias.

One of the publication’s main protagonists is sustainability, as reflected in the commitment of brands such as Volvo, Mitsubishi, Isuzu and Peugeot, among others.

In a world that is rapidly moving towards sustainable development, mobility is undergoing an unprecedented transformation. In fact, according to the Unified National Road Traffic Register (UNRT), 992 new electric vehicles were registered from January to March 2024, an increase of 21.4% over the same period in 2023.

This growth is reflected in the 2024 edition of the 17th Motor Show, as it is presented as the ideal platform to discover the latest innovations that will shape the future of the automotive industry. This issue focuses on hybrid and electric vehicles, a direct response to environmental issues and the need for clean and efficient transportation.

Meet the future of some of the brands present.

Volvo

The Volvo EX30 is an all-electric SUV designed for urban, green and safe use. It offers two battery options, a sleek design with advanced technologies like OTA updates and parking assist, and a reduced carbon footprint. It is also the greenest Volvo, being 95% recyclable at the end of its life. Volvo is also moving forward with its Electric Pathway, aiming to transform its portfolio by 2025 and achieve net-zero emissions by 2040.

Motorysa- Mitsubishi Motors

Mitsubishi’s new Outlander 2025 features a completely redesigned design that is more imposing and elegant, in line with the Japanese “FU-DO-DO” concept, which reflects authenticity and grandeur. It is equipped with a 2.5-liter engine producing 184 hp. and torque of 245 Nm, characterized by efficiency and low emissions. Thanks to its airflow control system, it complies with the Euro 6b standard, reducing NOx and fine particulate emissions by 56%.

Isuzu

The Isuzu Pickup is a versatile truck with a 3.0-liter diesel engine producing 188 hp. and 450 Nm of torque, ideal for any terrain thanks to the 4×4 traction. It complies with Euro 6 regulations without the need for AdBlue or urea, making it more environmentally friendly. Its high performance and efficiency make it a reliable and environmentally friendly option. Isuzu reaffirms its commitment to sustainable mobility through innovative solutions.

Peugeot

The brand is ushering in the 100% electric era in Colombia with the new Peugeot E-2008, an emission-free SUV that recharges the battery when braking, ensuring savings in consumption and maintenance. As part of its commitment to sustainable mobility, Peugeot is partnering with Enel to optimize resources by offering customers a charger for their vehicles. The first 30 units include the Juice Box Charger and the next 30 units include the Portable Charger.
