These are the commitments that Trendyol offers for the automatic pricing mechanism:

It will not continue to require the use of an automated pricing mechanism for sellers or provide sellers with incentives that would have the same effect as making it mandatory.

It will not be possible to target specific seller(s) when defining rules within the scope of the automatic pricing mechanism.

It removes the ‘Equal to Buybox Price’ option from the automatic pricing mechanism and only offers sellers the options ‘Stay Below Buybox Price’ and ‘Stay Above Buybox Price’. Additionally, the “Stay Below Buybox Price” and “Stay Above Buybox Price” options will be arranged in such a way that they will not produce the same result as the “Equal to Buybox Price” option (such as not being able to write 0% or stay below 0 TL or stay above it in percentage and amount).

Regarding the buybox criteria, the use of automatic pricing mechanisms by sellers will not be taken into account as a criterion in the operation of the algorithm.

It will inform sellers about the features of the automatic pricing mechanism, but will not share data from other sellers with sellers about the use of the automatic pricing mechanism.

It will make training content on the operation of the automatic pricing mechanism available to sellers, and provide its employees with competition law training within the scope of the concerns within the scope of the investigation and the commitments presented.

It will submit a report to the Competition Authority for three years to ensure compliance with the commitments can be monitored.

The commitments will be executed within 60 days of notification of the short decision to Trendyol, and all commitments will remain valid as long as the automatic pricing mechanism remains in effect.
