Kyivstar provided the Internet with a modular town for immigrants in Borodyanka

Kyivstar National Telecom Operator provided Home Internet the second modular town for immigrants – Borodyanka.

Kyivstar’s Home Internet continues to support the president’s program to provide temporary housing for IDPs and has connected the internet for free for the second such resettlement. It has become a modular town of 88 households in Borodyanka. The service from Kyivstar is already connected there, and therefore, families who will live in it will get free access to the Internet, ”said the director.

According to Serhiy Sukhoruk, Head of Kyivstar’s Fixed Communications Department, the company understands that this terrible war will continue, but is able to help people who have had to leave their homes to survive as comfortably as possible. “The residents can work, be distracted, work, communicate online. That’s why we connect our service for free and are ready to support every such town,” he said.

The press service recalled that the first such project, to which Kyivstar is connected to the Internet, is a modular town of 120 houses in Lviv (Sykhiv region).

The company is also ready to cooperate with regional governments and provide Wi-Fi access to any mobile settlement. According to Kyivstar, to apply for social infrastructure facility connection, you need to make a request to the address. wifi@kyivstar.net, specifying contact details and contacts for feedback. In a few days, a Kyivstar specialist will inform about the possibility of connection and determine the time required to fulfill the request.

Also, the operator continues to actively connect Wi-Fi in bomb shelters and bunkers around the country. Currently, there are more than 1,200.

In addition, the company’s technical specialists not only actively repair the damaged network, but also modernize it (especially in the cities of Lviv, Dnipro and Kyiv, the Internet became available at 1 Gbps).
