Amazon is launching a completely updated version of SageMaker.
At the re:Invent conference in Las Vegas, Amazon announced the next generation of SageMaker.
Three new innovations
Developers can easily create, train, and set up machine learning models with SageMaker. The new platform adds data analysis and AI tools. The most important innovations are SageMaker UniFi Studio, Zero ETL and Lakehouse.
In UniFi Studio, users can access data from various sources such as SE Data Lakes, Redshift, and SaaS applications. This environment facilitates collaboration through shared projects and integrated security.
According to Amazon, Zero ETL eliminates the need for complex data transformation. Data from applications like Salesforce and SAP should be instantly accessible without the need for pipelines.
Finally, there is Lakehouse functionality, which provides users with a common interface to analyze and use data from different locations. Lakehouse can also be used with external AI or analytics tools.
