More Siri like ChatGPT

According to Mark Gurman Bloomberg, iOS 19 will introduce a “more conversational Siri” based on “more advanced large language models.” He said the update would make Siri more similar to OpenAI’s ChatGPT and allow the assistant to “handle more complex queries.”

Apple will likely introduce an updated Siri when it unveils iOS 19 at WWDC 2025 next June, but Gurman said it won’t be available until spring 2026. This means that this feature will be released as part of the iOS 19.4 update.

Meanwhile, iOS 18.2 added ChatGPT integration to Siri, and Gurman expects integration with Google Gemini to arrive in the next update.
