“The IT army began its work on the third day of a full-scale Russian invasion. More than 250,000 volunteer hackers from around the world gathered to conduct daily mass attacks on Russian online resources. From February 26 to June 26, the IT army, It attacked more than 4,200 Russian online resources,” he said.

In particular, DDoS attacks have stopped the websites of government institutions, courts, banks and higher education institutions from working. Russians could not receive government services, could not make financial transactions in internet banking, those who entered the Free Economic Zone could not apply online, and cases in the zones were suspended.

The hackers also found St. Petersburg, national and regional media and online television sites Rutube. Cyber ​​attacks not only damaged the speeches of Russian President Vladimir Putin, but also hindered the media to avoid propaganda.

Business services, procurement platforms, online accounting services and Internet service providers have been hacked. This hindered the work of accountants, leading to the breakdown of the contract. Ticket purchasing services, insurance policies, online courier delivery services, food orders and online shopping were also hacked.

The Ukrainian IT army was affected by labeling systems, alcohol factories and veterinary inspections. The attacks disrupted food companies that were unable to apply product-specific data matrix, prevented their information systems from tracking alcohol turnover and obtaining permits for meat and dairy products.

“Now IT army invites everyone to join continues a common struggle and mass cyber attacks on the Russians. Only in this way can we disable the enemy’s information field and reject it in the Middle Ages, ”the Ministry of Finance emphasized.

As Ukrinform reported, on June 8, hackers hacked the Russian radio station Kommersant FM and broadcast patriotic songs in Ukrainian.
