WPS developers have released two statements highlighting that their software does not censor locally stored files. At the same time, the company is pretty vague about how WPS works with files hosted in the cloud. According to them, the platform is responsible for the content distributed on its own resources, but the prohibited content control is triggered only if the author creates a link for public access to the document.

Mitu instead states: he only shared the file with his editor once and that was in 2021. From that moment on, he was the only one who edited the text.

There does not appear to be a local copy of the document and has been lost simply because it was stored online.
