Philco announced the launch in Brazil of its new Entry level smartphone Philco Hit P8. With modest characteristics, the device has as its main advantages a 6-inch screen and an eight-core Unisoc processor.

According to specifications released by Philco, the device features a 6-inch HD+ IPS LCD screen, is equipped with a Unisoc SC9863A octa-core processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot up to 512GB, and a 3000mAh battery. but the company does not mention support for fast charging.

The set of cameras of the Philco Hit P8 smartphone consists of a front camera of 5 megapixels and only two rear cameras – a main one of 13 megapixels with autofocus and a macro of 2 megapixels. The rear camera module also includes a fingerprint sensor and two “light blocking sensors”.

Connectivity options for Philco’s new entry-level smartphone include 4G LTE, dual SIM, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, and a USB port.
