The SOBRA radar station determines the positions of up to 40 batteries in 2 minutes at a distance of up to 100 km.

The SOBRA counter-battery radar station is capable of determining the positions of enemy artillery, mortar batteries and rocket launchers. In addition, the OBRA radar can calculate the drop points of shells and missiles, which allows you to adjust the fire of your units, as well as warn them of the danger of fire damage.

СОBRA can detect distances up to 100 km and classify up to 40 batteries in two minutes. The station includes: antenna system, signal processing processor, status indicators and control bodies, navigation, communication, data processing and transmission equipment, power supply system.

The radar system is a planar rectangular phase semiconductor antenna consisting of 3,000 low power modules each, four of which are combined into a replaceable unit. Provides an overview of the airspace through electronic scanning.

Adaptive systems are used to change the carrier frequency and digital selection of moving targets to protect against interference. At the same time, the “false” alarm level is regulated and the “obstacle map” is created. The reduction in the level of the side lobes of the antenna directional patterns makes it much more difficult to locate the COBRA radar station.

Digital pulse compression, Doppler frequency filtering, single pulse error calculation and remote Doppler interpolation are used in signal processing to increase target coordinate determination range and accuracy.

The station is powered by a built-in alternator, and in case of failure a 350 W battery provides power for further movement.
