During an event held today, OPPO announced the launch in Thailand of its new Smartphone OPPO Reno8 Z 5G. With specifications similar to the Reno7 Z 5G, the main features of the device are a large screen, a Snapdragon 695 processor, a 64MP main camera, and a 33W fast-charging battery.

According to the official specs on the device page on the OPPO website, it has a 6.43-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 or Full HD+ and a refresh rate of 60Hz. Still on screen, it has a touch sampling rate of up to 180Hz, a density of 409 ppi, a peak brightness of 600 nits, and 93% DCI-P3 color space coverage in Vivid mode.

As mentioned at the beginning of the post, the OPPO Reno8 Z 5G smartphone is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 octa-core processor and Adreno 619 GPU, 8GB LPDDR4x RAM, 128GB internal storage based on UFS (Universal Flash) standard. Memory) 2.2, microSD card slot up to 1 TB and a 4500 mAh battery with support for 33 W fast charging (charger included).

It also supports OPPO’s memory expansion technology, which allows users to get an additional 5GB of virtual memory by using part of the internal memory, for a total of 13GB of RAM.

The camera set of the new smartphone from OPPO consists of a 16MP front camera with f/2.4 aperture, 79-degree field of view and a 5P lens for selfies, and three rear cameras – a 64MP main camera with f/1.7 aperture, 79-degree field of view, autofocus and 6P lens, 2 MP f/2.4 macro and another 2 MP f/2.4 for depth sensing.

The rear camera module also includes an LED flash. Both the front and rear cameras of the OPPO Reno8 Z 5G support HD (720p) and Full HD (1080p) video recording at 30fps. Supported features include Night Mode, Panorama Mode, Portrait Mode, Time Lapse Recording, and more.

Device connection options include support 5G (South Africa/NSA) and 4G LTE, dual SIM, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, 3.5mm headphone jack and USB Type-C port. Other features of the Reno8 Z 5G smartphone include a fingerprint sensor, face unlock, step counting support, and more. The operating system is ColorOS 12.1 based on Android 12.

Price and availability of OPPO Reno8 Z 5G

The OPPO Reno8 Z 5G is now available for pre-order in Thailand in Dawnlight Gold and Black colors with a suggested retail price of THB 12,990, which is equivalent to USD 361 or R$ 1,908 in direct conversion based on the current quote. Official sales will start after August 14th.
