A new level: Belarusian authorities consider Telegram stickers extremist

The dictator is clearly taking cues from his best friend Putin and censoring more and more information. This time cartoon images are banned.

Detail

  • The first set is called “Sasha 3%”. Its name comes from the protests in Belarus in the years 2020-2021, when Lukashenko won the election. Then a political meme appeared in the country, implying the real level of support for the dictator – three percent, not 80.1 percent, as shown in the official results. The set also includes other memes such as “PSYCHO3%”, “STOP cockroach”, a cartoon of Lukashenka in the form of a percent sign.

  • The second set was named “Luke”. It contains cartoons of Lukashenka depicting various situations with funny inscriptions – for example, taking pills, crushing cockroaches, or a picture with Putin and Lukashenka in the same bed.
