AMD Ryzen 7000 would hit the market on the day Raptor Lake was announced

Recently, rumors and leaks have suggested that the arrival of the first Ryzen 7000 will take place on September 15, two weeks after AMD’s event later this month. It became so widespread and popular that practically everyone took it for granted. But in the end, according to WccfTech’s own sources cited, this date may changeand the new candidate looks far from a random choice.

As we told you a few weeks ago, Intel will hold an event at the end of September, and surprisingly, this will be the time the company has chosen to introduce the thirteenth generation Intel Core, the expected Raptor Lake. This event, Intel Innovation, will be held on September 27 and 28. And it would be strange if Intel shut down the introduction of its new processors to the next day, wouldn’t it? So we can practically take it for granted that his plans to make this presentation on September 27th are going through (or at least passed).

And the fact is that the sources mentioned in the article above confirm that the launch of the Ryzen 7000 would be delayed by twelve days compared to the original plans. So yes, lThe arrival of the first Ryzen 7000 on the market could happen on the same day as the introduction of Raptor Lake. I don’t know about you, but as much as I want to think straight, I can’t deny that it seems like a deliberate and therefore somewhat aggressive visual action (not saying that’s necessarily a bad thing, mind you).

That way, even though it’s clear that Intel processors are going to be leading the day in terms of information, AMD can play a trick and take some of the visibility out of it, because obviously tThere will also be news related to the sale of Ryzen 7000.

Processors that go on sale that day are expected to be Ryzen 9 7950X, Ryzen 9 7900X, Ryzen 7 7700X and Ryzen 5 7600Xwhich is quite consistent with the preliminary prices of these four models being leaked first, as we told you yesterday.

That’s right, the new AMD generation wouldn’t have so much time alone, i.e. being the only one on the market. The first Raptor Lake units are expected it came on the market sometime in October (probably mid to late), so perhaps in an attempt to acquire a few incumbents from Intel, AMD could trade with a month (or even more) market lead for a few weeks. In any case, a very interesting move.
