We’ve been waiting months and weeks for the iPhone 14 to be unveiled, expecting that for double the redundancy his presentation could be pushed a week earlier considering what was usual in September’s already traditional Apple keynote, an event dedicated for some time to, among other things, the presentation of the new generation of the Cupertino smartphone. And we can finally confirm, because Apple did it, that the rumors we repeated back then turned out to be true.
And it is because Apple has finally started sending out invitations to the presentation of the iPhone 14, although, as it could not be otherwise in the case of Apple, in the said call not only the iPhone is mentioned specifically, but also the content of the event in general. We only find the date and time of September 7th at 10:00am PT, 7:00pm in mainland Spain (18:00 in the Canary Islands), a text stating that the face-to-face part of the event will take place at the Steve Jobs Theater in Cupertino, a request for confirmation of participation and, as usual, a cryptic phrase, but which will be the backbone of the whole event. In this case it’s “Far Out”, far away.

Presentation of the iPhone 14… and what else?
Given the data and rumors, we can have little doubt that the main role of the event will go to the four models that will make up the iPhone 14 family. These would be its components:
- iPhone 14: the base model of this generation with an updated version of the Apple A15 and a 6.1-inch screen
- iPhone 14 Max: Similar to the base model, but with a larger size (and thus possibly a larger battery) and a 6.7-inch screen.
- iPhone 14 Pro: repeating the success of previous generations, here we would find the new Apple A16 SoC and other improvements over the base models. 6.1 inch display.
- iPhone 14 Pro MaxNote: Unlike the base models, the Pro Max could see further improvements over the Pro 14. In terms of size, we expect it to be 6.7 inches, just like the current generation.
If so, and everything points to it, it would be confirmed Apple wants to make a bigger difference between the basic models and the Pro, which would be evident not only in its specifications, but also in its price. And the point is that the basic model could be the only one to maintain the price compared to the iPhone 13 generation, while the Pro and Pro Max models would become more expensive. As for the Pro Max, which debuts this generation and replaces the ill-fated iPhone Mini, it is expected to cost $100 more than the iPhone 14 in the US market.

And what other announcements are we expecting? For there is only uncertainty in this regard. We can take it for granted that the event will start with some “minor” announcements related to some of the company’s services (maybe some progress in the expansion of the Apple Card? Maybe Apple News +? Some new color for some device? Already in the main dishes section, there wereSome rumors about a basic iPad refreshbut other voices suggest that it would happen in October or November.
And on the other hand, Mark Gurman raised the possibility that the presentation event for the iPhone 14 really is iPhone 14 and Apple Watch Series 8 presentation events, a new generation for which we expect news in its components and functions, including quantification, but not in its sensors. But, and I must mention, Gurman has been wrong in some of his predictions for a while now, like when he pointed out that the next-generation iPhone SE would be cheaper than its predecessor, and it turned out to be more expensive. So, as is often said in the Anglo-Saxon world, it is best to take these forecasts with a grain of salt.
Be that as it may, we have a date next September 7th we have a date at 7:00 p.m (Peninsula Spanish Time) in which we clear all doubts and tell you all about new devices and other Apple announcements. We count on you!
