Responding to computer emergency incidents of Ukraine’s CERT-UA, operating under State Special Communications, the government team warns of an attack by hackers on Ukrainian, Austrian and German establishments.

As reported by Ukrinform, the State Special Communications Service reported this on Telegram.

On August 30 and 31, mass emails with the subject “Technisches Zeichnen” (Technisches Zeichnen) were registered between Ukrainian, Austrian and German organizations.

The e-mail attachment contains an IMG file (for example, “Drawing.img”) with a CHM file of the same name. Opening it will eventually download the AgentTesla malware to the device.

Experts note that similar mails were also recorded on August 11 – later the emails contained an attachment and a subject called “Contract documents”.

As Ukrinform reported, within six months of the start of the full-scale Russian invasion, enemy hackers attacked Ukraine 1,123 times.
