Ege University teams continue to attract a lot of attention at TEKNOFEST Black Sea. The Aegean University booth and project teams, which caught the attention of media organizations and technology enthusiasts alike, were hosted by the President of the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK), Prof. Dr. Hasan Mandal and TEI TUSAŞ General Manager Mahmut Faruk Akşit visited.

Ege University welcomes its visitors to the booth of Aviation, Space and Technology Festival, where it has a stake, to support our country’s national technology movement, increase domestic and national production, and achieve the goal of Turkey developing technology . At the festival, where 600 thousand participants and 27 thousand 715 finalists from 107 countries met, the stands with teams of Aegean students and teachers gave a big party to technology enthusiasts and attracted a lot of attention from media organizations. Exhibitors visited the booth of Ege University, TÜBİTAK President Prof. Dr. Hasan Mandal and TEI TUSAŞ General Manager Mahmut Faruk Akşit gave information about the studies and projects they developed at Ege University.

TUBITAK President Prof. Dr. Expressing his satisfaction with the visits of Mandal and TEI TUSAŞ General Manager Akşit, Ege University Rector Prof. Dr Necdet Budak said: “Our country’s National Technology Move festival continues with intense participation and enthusiasm. Visitors at the Ege University stand; “Oguz Unmanned Ground Vehicle”, “Umay High Altitude Rocket”, “Advanced Category Underwater Systems Karaburun”, “Unmanned Marine Vehicle – MV Savarona 2”, “Unmanned Aerial Vehicle – Gökyaran” and “Biomanus – Advanced Arm for Upper Extremity Amputees” He shows great interest in his prosthesis. In the framework of the EU Research-Oriented Student Center (AROM), which continues its activities within the EBİLTEM Technology Transfer Office, they also experience the VR glasses that students use during their project development processes.
