“To make using foreign online services even faster and safer, the Ministry of Digital Affairs has agreed to cooperate with the international company Vodafone Group. Plans include the construction of a submarine cable across the Black Sea, the opening of new data centers and the strengthening of the existing network,” it said.
It is stated that more than half of the 5.4 billion Internet users are concentrated in Asia and the Middle East, and therefore new technologies require a huge amount of data exchange. And laying the cable through Ukraine will make our country the digital center of Europe.
According to the news, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Ministry of Digital Transformation and mobile operator lifecell the day before. The company will also transfer UAH 40 million to the UNITED24 account.
